N. Woodstock, NH — As plans change and drivers move up the ladders of stock car racing, they leave behind a void to be filled at the top of the heap. White Mountain Motorsports Park is sure to see two different champions in both the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models and Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers in 2025 as champions Tanner Woodard and Brandon Gray, respectively, move up and out. The off-season changes leaving many fans and competitors to wonder, who will take their place?
Tanner Woodard started 2024 with a wrecked race car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway before quickly pivoting his plans to White Mountain Motorsports Park. The former Flying Tiger champion campaigned weekly in the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models enroute to his first King of the Mountain track championship in 2024 and now looks to return to the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour for 2025.
Brandon Gray has been the undisputed Tiger King in the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers the past two seasons at White Mountain, taking a clean sweep of all fourteen events in 2024. In 2025, the East Thetford driver is moving up to the ACT Late Model ranks at both Thunder Road and White Mountain while vowing to make select Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour starts as well!
So, what does that mean for 2025 at White Mountain? The top two weekly divisions that bring Thunder to the Mountains will have two different champions this summer!
Can Quinny Welch regain the throne in the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models or will young up-and-comer Kyle Goodbout nab the brass ring? Perhaps fellow veterans Tyler Cahoon, Mike Jurkowski or Stacy Cahoon can go all the way but look out for sophomore drivers Thomas Smithers VI and Colin Cornell as well!
The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers brings us another varied collection of drivers ready to dethrone Brandon Gray in his absence this summer. Former Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division pilot Luke Peters looks most poised to take the crown after a stellar season last summer, all while under-fire from fellow rising stars Kyle Willis, Nate Hamblett, Owen Cheney and Tyler Pepin who also look to make some noise in 2025.
White Mountain Motorsports Park begins the 2025 season with the six division HK Powersports Opening Day on Saturday, May 17 followed by the PASS Spectacular on Sunday, May 18 for a twin bill to headline the 33rd season opener at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track! HK Powersports Opening Day will also feature the free-to-the-public annual White Mountain Car Show from 10:00am to 12-noon!
