N. Woodstock, NH — In an exciting change announced by Pro All Stars Series officials at the end of last week, two different divisions will take on the White Mountain Motorsports Park for the first time! PASS Officials have added the Mad Bombers, Oxford Plains Speedway’s most popular support division, to the Saturday, September 20 showdown during NASCAR Weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway while the Thunderstock Crown Vics are now a part of the September 27 date during White Mountain’s huge track championship weekend.
The Mad Bombers are a V-8 street stock-type class that have put on some phenomenal racing at Oxford Plains Speedway over the past several years to become one of the most popular divisions at the Maine oval. Just as popular are the Thunderstocks with a roster made up of Ford Crown Victorias, Lincoln Town Cars and Mercury Grand Marquis with only the addition of a roll cage and the removal of glass allowed in the strictly stock division making for great on-track performance.
The September 20 program brings back the famed PASS Special at White Mountain Motorsports Park on the Saturday night of NASCAR Weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with the PASS Super Late Models going for 150-laps alongside the New England Supermodified Series, PASS Modifieds and the Oxford Mad Bombers.
A quick turnaround finds the PASS Super Late Models back for another 150-lap affair during the season-ending championship spectacular weekend at White Mountain on Saturday, September 27. The PASS Modifieds, NEMA Midgets and Thunderstock Crown Vics join in for a stellar four-division program ahead of Sunday’s six division track championship festivities.
White Mountain Motorsports Park returns to racing action next Saturday, September 6 with the conclusion of the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series for the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models with the annual Leaf Peepers 100. Joining the card will be the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Stock Minis and a special visit for the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros with a 6:00pm Post Time.
