Barre, VT — For the first time in over five years the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park in Groveton, New Hampshire for the Great North Woods 150! The North Country quarter mile has long played a role in Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour history starting as an important piece of the puzzle during the launch of the ACT Late Model division back in the 1990s. Sunday’s Great North Woods 150 will be the first event back at Riverside since 2020 and many of ACT’s finest are excited to return to the facility, especially after last year’s repave.

After several unexpected weeks off due to weather, Gabe Brown, Jake Johnson and Jesse Switser are looking to rekindle their battle to lead the standings. While both Brown and Switser lead Johnson on experience at the Groveton oval, Jake ‘The Jet’ has proven that experience isn’t the most important thing. He’s three for three in top fives so far this season with the Hartwell Motorsports team and he’ll be looking to make it four on Sunday.

Among the field looking for hometown advantage will be brothers Shawn and Jamie Swallow, both former champions of the facility along with longtime Berlin, New Hampshire racer Cody LeBlanc. Interestingly, Riverside is one of the few US tracks that Jeff Côté has track time on, making him a viable threat this Sunday. The full fold of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will return to action including fellow Quebecers Jonathan Bouvrette and Remi Perreault, Vermont’s Kaiden Fisher, Southern New Hampshire stalwarts Jimmy Renfrew Jr., Erick Sands and Geoff Rollins and top rookie Jacob ‘Rowdy’ Burns among the fold.

The ACT Twin-State Flying Tiger Series will also be back in action, but it is uncertain as of press time Tuesday if point leader and breakout White Mountain winner Chandler Potter will head north to defend his lead. The mixed bag includes veterans like John Donahue, Matt Potter, Kevin Streeter and Mike Clark alongside a group of young-guns that include Luke Peters, Logan Powers, Owen Cheney and Cam Gadue among others!

DJ Shaw leads the PASS Super Late Models into Riverside Speedway but it’s Trevor Sanborn is looking to make it back-to-back wins after stealing the Spring Spectacular 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park just two weeks ago. With a stout list featuring Gabe Brown, Johnny Clark and Joey Doiron among the field, it’s anyone’s game with 150 laps on Sunday.

Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will be back in action on Sunday, May 31 at Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park in Groveton, New Hampshire. The grand return to the North Country quarter-mile will also feature the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds and the ACT Flying Tiger Twin-State Series with a 2:00pm start time on Sunday.

Grandstands open at 11:00am with Adult General Admission available for $25, kids ages six to twelve are $10 and children five and under are free.
