Stock Car Rides In Afternoon And Racing Under The Lights That Evening
(Butler Township, Pa. 5-17-26) Evergreen Raceway gets back to business this coming Saturday, May 23, with on-track activities taking place throughout the day.
Things get rolling at noon with the popular Circle Track Driving Experience and later that evening it will be a full complement of stock car racing along with a special Camera and Autograph Meet and Greet plus a Fireworks Show Presented by The Wire Guys of Hazle Township to boot.
The Circle Track Driving Experience (CTRE) gives fans the chance to either drive or ride in authentic Late Model stock cars. For those looking for even more excitement, there is also an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Modified stock car and experience firsthand what these skilled drivers do on the track.
The Circle Track Driving Experience is available by appointment only. For pricing and to reserve a time slot, interested participants should call 570-956-6347. The CTRE takes place from noon to 3:00 pm.
Also, during the afternoon will be an open paid practice to any team wishing to get in some added track time. The open paid practice runs from noon to 4:00 pm and is $25 per car.
Racing begins at 6:00 pm. For just $15 for adults, with free admission for children 12 and under, fans will enjoy a five-division card of racing, the Camera and Autograph session, Fireworks and, everyone entering through the main grandstands will also receive a free Saturday ticket to Pocono Raceway for the Saturday, June 13 events which included the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Miller Tech battery 250 Presented by KOA along with NASCAR Cup Series qualifying.
Saturday night’s race card will be a full one with action coming from the 602 Crate Modifieds, Late Models, Harry’s U-Pull-It Street Stocks, Himmer Graphics Four Cylinders, McNulty Funeral Homes Novice Four Cylinders and the East Coast TQ Midgets.
Getting the night started will be the JuiceBox Division racing on Little Evergreen Raceway.
For the regular racing program pit gates will open at 3:00 pm and racing starting at 6:00 pm. Pit admission is $40 all ages. Main grandstands open at 4:00 pm.
In the event of inclement weather, the next day, Sunday May 24 at 5:00 pm will be the rain date.
