N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) officials are excited to announce that the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models will be sharing center stage with the final round of the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series on Saturday, September 10th with their stand-alone $1,000-to-Win, Wall’s Ford 50 lap special. The event is no longer a North East Mini Stock Tour event but now stands as a special, big money, extra distance points race for the newest White Mountain division.
The $1,000-to-Win Wall’s Ford 50-lap special for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models is open to all Mini Stock competitors from across New England to hunt down the top prize. WMMP also expects a shipment of Hoosier Tires to be able to offer each team two tires for competition.
“The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models have been an exciting addition to White Mountain Motorsports Park in 2022,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’re glad to offer these racers a special points race for their support of what we’re trying to grow here at White Mountain with the $1,000 to win Wall’s Ford 50.”
The $1,000-to-Win, Wall’s Ford 50 for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models joins a full card of Saturday night racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park that includes the championship event for the inaugural Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series plus feature racing for the Flying Tigers, Strictly Stock Minis and Kids Division on September 10th.
White Mountain Motorsports Park will be taking its annual late-August break for Oxford 250 weekend this Saturday, August 27th. Thunder returns to the Mountains with the Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 on Saturday, September 3rd. Along with the Late Model 100-lapper, the NELCAR Legends Tour returns to WMMP plus the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division. Schedule and race day information will be released in the near future.
