RACE OF CHAMPIONS DIRT 602 SPORTSMAN SERIES RETURNS TO OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022

Ohsweken, Ontario-Canada – (September 7, 2022) – The Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series will head to the ultra-modern Ohsweken Speedway in Oshweken, Ontario-Canada for its final visit of the season this coming Friday night for Qwik Wick Fire Starter night at the races.

Cody McPherson of St. Catherines, Ontario-Canada won the Series first visit to Ohsweken. Justin Sharp of St. Catherines, Ontario finished second to McPherson on August 12.

“Cody’s been having a great season, but hopefully we can finish one position higher on Friday,” stated Sharp. “Ohsweken is a great track, and it makes for great racing. We’re looking forward to it. It should be a lot of fun and a great show for the fans.”

The series gives Crate Sportsman racers an opportunity to travel within the region. Friday night’s Qwik Wick Fire Starter night pays $1,500 in Canadian funds to win.

The Race of Champions Series joins the 358 Modified action at Ohsweken this Friday, which features many of their exciting weekly divisions as well-being Canada’s home for Sprint Car Racing with the popular 360 Sprint Car division.

When: Friday, September 9, 2022. Pit Gates open at 5:00 pm, Grandstands open at 6:00 pm, Racing at 7:30 pm

Directions: The track is located at 1987 Chiefswood Road, Ohskweken, Ontario – just minutes South of the 403 (London/Toronto) and approximately 60-miles Northwest of Buffalo, N.Y. and Fort Erie, Ontario.
