Two-Day Delaware State Dirt Track Championship Set for Nov. 17-18

DELMAR, DE – The “Champ Show” is back.

One of the most historic events in Delaware racing is back on the map this season at Delaware International Speedway with the Delaware State Dirt Track Championship Weekend scheduled for Friday-Saturday Nov. 17-18.

The final event of 2023 at the half-mile oval under the promotional efforts of BD Motorsports Media LLC is a fan and competitor favorite in the First State with two jam-packed days of racing headlined by the Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds, Stockley Speed & Supply Super Late Models and Small-Block Modifieds.

On Friday (Nov. 17), the PA/NJ Spec Small-Block Modifieds headline the program with a 30-lap feature event paying up to $5,000 for the winner with the posted pre-race ‘Gambler’s Fee.’

Also on the docket are heat races for the Millman’s NAPA big-block/small-block Modifieds and time trials and heat races for the Stockley Speed & Supply Super Late Models, setting the stage for their Saturday affair.

Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars, Delaware Super Trucks and Delmarva Chargers will all join the Friday portion of the weekend for 12-lap, features only racing.

On Nov. 17, all gates open at 3 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6:20 p.m., with racing at 

7:15 p.m.

Admission is $25 (Adults), $20 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17). Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children (ages 5 and under).

On Saturday (Nov. 18), following final qualifying, Millman’s NAPA Modifieds and Stockley Speed & Supply Super Late Models will each battle for 40-laps around the half-mile oval just north of the Delaware-Maryland border.

Each of the 40-lap affairs are worth up to $7,000 with the posted ‘Gambler’s Fee’ prior to Friday night’s heat race action.

The Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman and Crate Late Models will also be on Saturday’s racing card.

Each of the four divisions will also crown 2023 Delaware International Speedway Champions following each of their respective features.

The Little Lincolns, Delmarva Chargers, and Delaware Super Trucks will complete the Saturday racing with 12-lap, features only affairs.

On Nov. 18, all gates open at noon. Hot laps begin at 3 p.m., with racing to follow at 4 p.m.

Admission is $30 (Adults), $25 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17). Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $45 (Non-Members), $40 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children (ages 5 and under).

Weekend passes are also available. Grandstand passes are $50 and $40 for Seniors (ages 65 and above) & Students (ages 13-17). $15 for Kids (ages 9-12) and Children 8 and under are FREE all weekend.

Weekend pit passesare available at $80 (ages 13 and up) and $75 for NASCAR Members. $20 for Kids (ages 6-12) weekend pit passes and $4 Children for 5 and under.
