Mooresville, NC (February 13th, 2024) – The 2024 ARCA Menards Series season is going to be all about stepping up for the #73 KLAS Motorsports team.  The team is stepping up their schedule, stepping up their resources, and planning to step up their results.  Along with that, partner V1 Fiber is stepping up their support of the team by committing to become the primary sponsor of the #73 for the first two races of the year at Daytona International Speedway (FL) on February 17th and Phoenix Raceway on March 8th.

V1 Fiber has been a partner of KLAS Motorsports from the team’s start and has also supported driver Andy Jankowiak for several seasons. The Dallas-based company does business nationwide and has decided to increase its support of the #73 team, which is owned by Kevin Lapierre and Andy Seuss, and connect with their customers and employees throughout the United States.

“It’s exciting to see one of our most loyal sponsors coming back to us and wanting to do more with our team,” stated a very excited Andy Jankowiak of the expanded partnership. “It’s encouraging to all of us at KLAS Motorsports.”

Daytona is a perfect place to expand that relationship.  Not only is it the biggest event on the ARCA Menards Series schedule, but it is also one where the #73 team has performed well.  Jankowiak qualified fifth for the 2023 race at Daytona and was battling within the lead pack when he got caught up in a wreck with less than 20 laps to go.  The event served as a building block for the rest of the season though.  After shaking off more bad luck at Talladega and Kansas, the KLAS Motorsports team ran the board when it came to top-ten finishes for the remainder of 2023.  They ended the season with seven top-ten finishes in a row, including a best result of fourth at Michigan Speedway.

V1 Fiber also knows a few things about results and teamwork.  V1 Fiber offers a comprehensive suite of fiber construction and engineering, emergency and maintenance services, and network solutions for the broadband and telecommunication industry. V1 Fiber has engineered and constructed over seven million feet of fiber and supporting infrastructure across the country, helping close the digital divide and enhance 5G availability.

Sharing in the spotlight will be Whelen Engineering. Whelen is back on board with KLAS Motorsports for a third consecutive season and will be featured prominently for twelve races in 2024 starting with Daytona.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for their values and mission as well as their commitment to motorsports. It’s so much fun to be able to race with Geoff, Peter, and Ted on our team,” said Jankowiak of the partnership.

The KLAS Motorsports family of marketing partners for the Daytona event will also include local golf cart seller “Mike Sells Golf Carts” of Daytona Beach (The best deal on your next golf cart), Automotive Consultants of Ithaca, NY (Selling new cars at wholesale prices since 1959), Yukon Creek Sportsman Club (a free-of-charge hunting camp in upstate NY for the disabled), Florida Safety Systems (Andy J and KLAS Motorsports supporters), Dak’s Market, Acacia Energy, PlanterBoxDirect.com (Durable metal planter boxes shipped to your door), Musician Ryan Bronson and Rusty Diamond Cores LLC.

“We have a huge cast of supporters in our KLAS Motorsports family that help to keep us going in circles, and that makes it fun for all of us to be a part of,” said Jankowiak.

The KLAS Motorsports team and Jankowiak will start their 2024 season in the Daytona ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 17th. The event will be televised live on FS1 with a post time of 1:30pm ET.
