Bryant, Ingerick, and Deyoe Collect Checkered Flags

LANCASTER, N.Y. (July 25, 2026) – Danny Shirey from Oberlin, Ohio was victorious in the Outlaw 350 Supermodifieds event at Lancaster Motorplex on Saturday night. Nathan Bryant from East Aurora, NY scored the win in the Street Stock main event. Caiden Ingerick from Caledonia, NY won his first career Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4 feature, Chris Deyoe Jr from East Otto, NY won the 4 Cylinder feature.
Andrew Buchanan and Hunter Young were on the front row for the Outlaw 350 Supermodifieds Todd Gibson Memorial, with Young in the lead ahead of Keegan Weese and Kevin Shirey. The caution would come out on lap one as pole sitter Buchanan, along with Oswego regulars Dave Cliff and Noah Ratcliff getting collected in turn one. Keegan Weese would take over the lead on the restart, followed by Young, Sam Stout, Shirey, and Robbie Wirth. The caution would come back out on lap five as Kevin Shirey spun in turn two while running inside the top five. Mike Bruce would start ninth on the grid and would work his way to second place and would challenge race leader Weese. Bruce would take the lead on lap nine and would bring Danny Shirey with him. Following a lap 10 restart, Bruce and Danny Shirey would be on the front row with Bobby Holmes racing in third. Shirey would take the lead. The caution flags would fly again on lap 11 as Bruce would scrape the back straightaway wall and spin in turn three. Shirey would lead on the restart followed by Holmes and Weese. Chase Wiggins would close in on Weese for third, as the lead duo would pull away from the field. The caution would come out again on lap 24, as Kevin Shirey spun coming off turn four. Robbie Wirth would work his way back through the field and took over third place on lap 27 and closed in on Bobby Holmes for second place. Shirey would pull away from the field and would pick up the win. Holmes would hold off Wirth to round out the podium.
Dan Dressel and Evan Janik were on the front row for the Street Stock feature event, with Dressel leading Troyer Catalano, Tucker Welshans, Chris Barber, and Nik Welshans. Nik Welshans would move into fourth place on lap five, with Marty Kling entering the top five as well. Tucker Welshans would battle and pass Troyer Catalano to take over second on lap 11. The caution would come out on lap 12 as Josh Schosek slowed on the top side of turn two, erasing a 1.58 second lead that Dressel had on Tucker Welshans. The caution would come out on lap 14 as the leaders got tangled and headed towards the turn three Thermal Foam. Mark Hoch would take the lead away from Troyer Catalano on lap 15, with Nathan Bryant going by Catalano to take over second on lap 16. Hoch and Bryant would battle for the win. Bryant used the inside to take the lead into turn one on the last lap of the race and held off Hoch to score his third win of the season.
Caiden Ingerick led from the start in the Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4 feature and would go on to score the win, his first career Lancaster triumph. Ingerick would hold off Jeff Szafraniec to score the win.
John Byrd and Ashton Hannon were on the front row for the 4 Cylinders feature, with Chris Deyoe Jr taking the lead before lap number one. Deyoe would lead all 15 laps to pick up the feature win.
Fans of Lancaster Stock Cars are giving race fans the chance to enjoy one of the biggest nights of the season in style while also supporting Lancaster Motorplex competitors through a special suite raffle for the 38th US Open Weekend. Only 300 tickets will be sold for the raffle, with all proceeds going directly to the Drivers Point Fund. The grand prize winner will receive a suite for the U.S. Open featuring 10 tickets, along with food and drinks included for the evening. The first-place package also includes two Fans of Lancaster Stock Cars T-shirts. Beer may be purchased separately. A second-place prize will also be awarded, featuring a free camping spot for the weekend plus four tickets to the Saturday portion of US Open Weekend. Raffle tickets are available at two price points: 1 ticket for $50 and 3 (three) tickets for $100.
Stock car racing continues at Lancaster Motorplex on Saturday, August 1 for Autograph Night featuring the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4s and the 4 Cylinders all in action. Pit gates will open at 2pm, grandstands open at 4pm, racing will begin at 6pm.
