Wall Township, NJ – The NASCAR Sportsman and ATQMRA TQ Midgets will share the spotlight this coming Saturday night, August 8th at Wall Stadium.
The NASCAR Sportsman will compete in not one, but two 25-lap feature events on Saturday night with each race now paying a cool $1,000 to win thanks to Accurate Tree Service of Neptune, NJ.
Expected to contend for wins on Saturday night will be point leader Kevin Davison and Ryan Bilello of Howell, NJ, Billy Both of Rahway, NJ, Zach Lenardo of Edison, NJ and Quinn Trimmer of Waldwick, NJ.
Also an added twist, both Sportsman feature events will be cone races allowing drivers to choose which line they would like to restart in, perhaps giving up or gaining positions in the meantime.
The ATQMRA TQ Midgets will share the spotlight with the Sportsman as they compete in the annual 30-lap Ace & John John Lane Memorial paying homage to the legendary motorsports photography family.
Early season feature winners Geoffrey Sutton of East Stroudsburg, PA, Kyle Taraska of Brick, NJ and Blake Barney of Jackson, NJ will have to hold off challengers in Joey Payne Jr., Jeff Kot, Tyler Ferris and Anthony Payne.
The O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks and Natural Design Co. Legend Cars will round out the card.
Pit gates will open at 2pm, grandstand turnstiles will unlock at 4pm as practice begins. Qualifying is set for 6pm with features hitting the track at 7:30pm.
Adult (18+) admission is $20, Seniors and Military w/ID are $15, Kids (7-17) are $10 with Children 6 & Under being FREE.
Saturday August 15th at Wall Stadium will see the NASCAR Modifieds return to compete in addition to the O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks competing in their rescheduled Twin 20’s, Surf Side Collision 4-Cylinders and ATQMRA TQ Midgets.
Mark your calendars now for the John Blewett Memorial 176 for the Tour-Type Modifieds on Saturday night, August 29th. The powerful Tour-Type Modifieds 176 lap feature event will pay $7,600 to win and $760 to start. There will be an Open Practice scheduled for Friday, August 28th and a special rain date of Sunday, August 30th has been set aside just in case.
